Mark Mothersbaugh and Scott Healy are the musical duo styling sounds for “Grandfathered,” the fall Fox TV series starring John Stamos as sexy pappy. Having scored dozens of feature films through his Mutato Muzika, Mothersbaugh is best known in the TV realm for his game-changing work on the ’90s series “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse.” He dipped into television again earlier this year for Fox’s “The Last Man on Earth,” starring Will Forte. Healy is a Grammy nominated Los Angeles-based pianist and composer familiar to millions as the keyboardist for Conan O’Brien’s back-up, Jimmy Vivino and the Basic Cable Band, on TBS. He was music director on Jon Turtletaub’s 2013 film Last Vegas, for which Mothersbaugh was composer, and has written music for a number of shorts.
