Jason Reitman’s new film Tully has a soundtrack featuring a previously unreleased Rufus Wainwright remix, “Tiergarten.” The Focus Features drama about a mother of three also showcases a new song by Beulahabelle written specifically for the film, as well as the band’s new new cover version of “You Only Live Twice.”
The Beuulahbelle sister duo Kaitlyn and Mady Dever has had a bit of a breakout, with actress Kaitlyn seen in Kathryn Bigelow’s Detroit, and Mady, an aspiring screenwriter.
Reitman curated tunes including music from The Velvet Underground and The Jayhawks, although the soundtrack is primarily comprised of music by composer Rob Simonsen (The Only Living Boy in New York (2017), Foxcatcher (2014), 500 Days of Summer (2009).
Tully is a dramedy starring Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis. It premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival and will be released nationwide this weekend by Focus Features. The soundtrack is released by Back Lot Music.
Tricia Halloran was the film’s music supervisor.
