Oliver Stone’s Snowden hits theaters September 16, 2016 with a score by Craig Armstrong. The teaser trailer opens with percussion and segues to an ethereal version of the gospel song “Let It Shine (This Little Light of Mine)” created by trailer tunesmiths Confidential Music. The film stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Shailene Woodley, though no actors appear in the trailer (which features a U.S. flag that slowly inverts).  The Open Road release was originally to have premiered on Christmas, but got pushed back. The Glasglow-born Armstrong created the score for Baz Luhrman’s The Great Gatsby, as well as the upcoming Viktor Frankenstein for Twentieth Century Fox, and New Line’s Me Before You.
