Joel J. Richard creates the music for “Quantico,” premiering this fall on ABC, Sundays at 10 p.m. The drama centers on the lives of FBI recruits training at the eponymous facility in Virginia. Richard got his start as a music editor, leveraging a knack for matching to picture, working with prominent composers who encouraged him to give writing a try. He collaborated with John Powell on scores including The Bourne Identity. Richard’s knack for inventive hybrid composition is evident in his scores for the ABC Family mini-series “Fallen” and Scott Free’s  Emmy nominated “The Andromeda Strain”, as well as the thriller Compound Fracture. Richard is represented by Roxanne Lippel of Soundtrack Music Associates.
