“Monumental” is key descriptor used by The New Yorker magazine in describing Laurie Anderson’s “Habeas Corpus,” an art installation that filled the Park Avenue Armory with audio-visual stiumuli. Although the exhibit was only up for three days at the beginning of October, you can experience it almost as if you were there, courtesy of Alex Ross’s review, which describes “sights and sounds of imposing strangeness.” Always a good sign!

The write-up had the bonus effect of informing us that the soundtrack to Anderson’s new documentary film, Heart of a Dog, will soon be released by Nonesuch Records.
